What Are The Top Real Estate Brokerages in Toronto To Work For? (2024)

When it comes to ranking the top Toronto real estate brokerages, we need to remember there are a few brokerages that are mainly focused on Pre-Construction. Those brokerages can not be in this list for many reasons. Believe it or not, there is not a single authority to collect and register the pre-construction deals! Isn’t that interesting? For example in GTA we have TRREB, which is organizing and managing the transactions that are made through MLS. But since pre-construction don’t go on MLS their numbers can not be counted!

Real Estate Brokerages in Toronto , and in general real estate, are regulated and organized in 3 levels. The Federal, Province and Boards level. Federal entity who governs the real estate industry is CREA (Canadian Real Estate Association) and Provincial entities who govern the brokerages in Toronto are RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario) and TREB (Toronto Real Estate Board).

In order to rank the top brokerage in Toronto we used historical stats for a year of real estate purchase and sale, resale transactions in Toronto. TREB on a monthly basis publishes stats that shows the number of units sold, average prices, volume of the sold units and etc.
